Special Events & Fund-Raisers
The Healdsburg Education Foundation is fortunate to serve as the beneficiary when partnering with existing organizations on special events and fund-raisers.
Given HEF’s capacity, at present, the organization does not “produce, conduct, or sponsor” fundraising events. HEF can, following an agreement with the producing organization, co-market events, send a representative to events, and give thanks for the donation publicly and in the media to the sponsoring organization once received.
Past special events include the AAUW’s Annual Historic Healdsburg Homes Tour, the 20/30 Club’s Vignette’s, Golf Tournament and Barn Dance events, and a benefit concert produced by school parents to benefit the Elementary Enrichment Program.
The Healdsburg Education Foundation welcomes inquiries and proposals from prospective partner organizations on mutually beneficial special events or other fund-raising activities. Please contact HEF at (707) 433-1223 or email Pamela Swan, email@example.com to set up a meeting.
As part of our Annual Fund campaign, the Healdsburg Education Foundation is hosting a week of tour opportunities for our community.

The Pastios Program
The Healdsburg Education Foundation (HEF) is raising funds to bring the Healdsburg Elementary School (HES) library into the 21st Century. Following previous renovations of the Healdsburg High School and Jr. High School libraries, HEF is capitalizing on its strong partnership with the Healdsburg Unified School District (HUSD) and our generous community to bring much-needed modernization to the Healdsburg Elementary Library. HEF will supply $85,000 to transform the space into a dynamic, multi-functional “Learning Commons.” The library will undergo substantial physical renovations, including new carpet, paint and lighting and a full technology upgrade. Furnishings will include a whiteboard wall and movable, comfortable furniture that is flexible and easy to re-configure to create a collaborative and participatory learning environment for Healdsburg’s youngest students.

Each year local homes of historic or architectural interest are opened to the public for self-guided tours featuring knowledgeable docents in each home. Funds raised from ticket sales are used to support Healdsburg area public schools and scholarships. This event is sponsored by American Association of University Women, Healdsburg Branch (AAUW;www.healdsburgaauw.com). AAUW is pleased and proud to support HEF through contributions to their programs.
Each year seven of Healdsburg’s lovely homes and gardens will be showcased. The homes on the tour are within walking distance of Healdsburg Plaza. Docents will be on hand to answer questions, and refreshments will be served at one of the homes.
