Special Events & Fund-Raisers

The Healdsburg Education Foundation is fortunate to serve as the beneficiary when partnering with existing organizations on special events and fund-raisers.

Given HEF’s capacity, at present, the organization does not “produce, conduct, or sponsor” fundraising events.  HEF can, following an agreement with the producing organization, co-market events, send a representative to events, and give thanks for the donation publicly and in the media to the sponsoring organization once received.

Most recently, Two Thirty-Five Luxury Suites hosted a tasting event at their beautiful hotel, where each Suite featured a HEF sponsered program and guests were able to speak with teachers and see the wonderful projects on which students had been working. Proceeds from ticket sales to this event went towards fulfilling our fundraising goals for our top funding priorities

The Healdsburg Education Foundation welcomes inquiries and proposals from prospective partner organizations on mutually beneficial special events or other fund-raising activities. Please contact HEF at (707) 433-1223 or email Joaquin Blanco-Pelucarte, joaquin@hefschools.com to set up a meeting.

Healdsburg Elementary Library Receiving a Much-needed Update

The Healdsburg Education Foundation (HEF) is raising funds to bring the Healdsburg Elementary School (HES) library into the 21st Century. Following previous renovations of the Healdsburg High School and Jr. High School libraries, HEF is capitalizing on its strong partnership with the Healdsburg Unified School District (HUSD) and our generous community to bring much-needed modernization to the Healdsburg Elementary Library. HEF will supply $85,000 to transform the space into a dynamic, multi-functional “Learning Commons.” The library will undergo substantial physical renovations, including new carpet, paint and lighting and a full technology upgrade. Furnishings will include a whiteboard wall and movable, comfortable furniture that is flexible and easy to re-configure to create a collaborative and participatory learning environment for Healdsburg’s youngest students.
